The Bluebird Special was a unique force in Kentucky music in the late 70s and early 80s, forging an eclectic blend of traditional, country, bluegrass and popular music from all eras. Featuring an array of vocal, instrumental and songwriting talent, it represents a rare blend of Southern musical cultures.
